No, you cannot take the real estate license exam online. It must be done at one of the approved locations throughout Virginia.
You may register and schedule for your examination at www.psiexams.com as soon as Colibri Real Estate has submitted your record to PSI. You may register and schedule an examination via the Internet 24 hours a day. You will be asked to select the examination and enter the ID# that Colibri Real Estate has submitted. You must pass both portions to apply for licensure by answering a minimum of 56 questions correctly on the national portion and 30 questions correctly on the state portion of the exam.
The state requires proctoring of your licensing exam. Additional information on the proctoring process can be found here. If you fail one portion of the examination, you must retake that portion and pass. Your completed application must be submitted within one (1) year from the initial examination date when you originally took the examination. If all paperwork and fees are not received within one (1) year from the original examination date, you must retake the expired portion or portions.
