Hours Required by Delaware Real Estate Commission: 21 hours.
•18 mandatory hours
oThree (3) hours in agency and fair housing (Module 1).
oThree (3) hours in professional standards (Module 2).
oThree (3) hours in real estate documents (Module 3).
oThree (3) hours in office management (Module 4).
oThree (3) hours in legislative issues (Module 5).
oThree (3) hours in practices of real estate (Module 6).

oThree (3) hours in elective courses (Module 7).
Newly-licensed Education Requirement: All New Salesperson Licensees, other than new Salesperson Licensees previously licensed in another state, shall complete the following twelve (12) hours no later than 90 days after the date of issuance.

oThree (3) hours in agreement of sale and buyer representation. (New Salesperson Module 2)
oThree (3) hours in real estate documents and seller representation. (New Salesperson Module 3)
oThree (3) hours in real estate professionalism. (New Salesperson Module 4)
Required Course Evaluation Form: The Delaware Real Estate Commission requires all Real Estate licensees to complete & submit a course evaluation form provided at the end of each course prior to receiving a certificate of completion.
Seat Time: The Delaware Real Estate Commission requires a timing device for all distance education courses to ensure that courses cannot be completed in less time than the approved credit hours. Please note that your course will time out after several minutes of inactivity.
Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary but are generally 6 months after enrollment date.
Certificate: With few exceptions, online course completion certificates are available for download at course conclusion and posted directly to your student dashboard.
