2023-2024 Hawaii Core B

Welcome to the Hawaii Core B 2024 course. Licensees intending to renew their license on an active status by the November 30 (even-numbered years) renewal deadline must complete 20 hours of approved continuing education courses during the biennium. The required continuing education hours include six hours for the Hawaii Real Estate Commission designated core courses and 14 hours of elective credit hours.

The core courses are divided into two parts: Part A and Part B. This course is Part B and is approved for three hours of continuing education. Chapter 1 of this Part B course highlights Hawaii legislative laws that passed in 2024 and impact real estate transactions. Chapter 2 reviews key provisions of license law for which Hawaii real estate licensees must adhere. Chapter 3 covers the Regulated Industries Complaints Office’s process for handling complaints, common complaints, the purpose of the Real Estate Recovery Fund, and license portability for servicemembers and their spouses.
